Flight Training Adelaide

Flight Simulator Building

The new Flight Simulator Building has been design to house a state of the art full motion flight simulator and static projection simlator.
 

The building allows maximum views into the simulator space as visitors enter the Flight Training Adelaide grounds wihtout allowing excessive
amounts of light into the space.

 

The cost effective solution provides dedicated static free spaces for the simulators, two teaching spaces and a small foyer space.

Flight Training Queensland ​

Flight Training Queensland is the new training facility under planning for clients Flight Training Adelaide. The new facility will boast living facilities
for 211 students with large cafeterias, recreation facilities and outdoor sporting facilities.

 

The facility is divided by function with the living, administration and teaching spaces forming the three key elements to the design. This methodical approach brings with it advantages in terms of economical sustainable construction.

Repetition is introduced into living and teaching
space, the standardisation of such spaces will increase the effi ciency in construction and reduce costs.

Opel Showroom

Edge Architects were engaged to design a scheme for a new Opel dealership in Adelaide's north. ​​

​

The proposal required the reuse of an existing dealership building, with new works to include improved external fascades, signage oportunities, internal fitout and improved client waiting areas and disabled access facilities, all  to comply with corporate guidlines set by Opel.

Sir Donal Bradman Drive

Showroom & Warehouse

Sir Donald Bradman Drive development is a multi-tenancy two storey building. The development house multiple tenancies and cater for flexibility in leasing arrangements.


The building includes showroom space, warehouse facilities to the rearof the building with delivery access from the car park, office space to the
first floor and a central double height foyer space.


Adjacent to the building is a split level car park, this design allows for minimal mechanical systems and increases the number of parking bays on site.


Careful consideration was given into ESD issues. Deep canopies and aluminium sunshades allow full height glass with virtually no direct sun penetration throughout summer.

London Road Development

​​Showroom & Office
​

The London Road Retail and Warehouse development is an extension and redevelopment of an existing warehouse.


The building is a purpose built facility for Tony’s Wholesale Flowers and caters for the bulk handling; storage and packaging of produce including state of the art refrigeration storage
and handling rooms.

​

Point of sale occurs under a two storey atrium
allowing ample natural light and display opportunities.


The development also includes new office, showroom and retail spaces for multiple tenancies with two storey frontage to South Road either side of an iconic entry and stairwell structure.
